The Q’eros community is made up of five tiny villages of humble stone houses in the Peruvian Andes. The community is home to 600 people and 6,000 llamas and alpacas and has remained isolated for the past 500 years. Their contact with the Peruvian government and church is extremely rare, allowing them to preserve the ancient knowledge acquired during the period of the ancient Incas.

If I think of my trip in Peru, I can describe it in three words “It was WOW!” or I can describe it in none, because it let me speechless. Actually, the first 12 days for me were like being in a washing machine. The first part, starting from sea level and moving higher and higher up to 5000m in the mountains, was pretty challenging.
