This Year: We are Visiting A New Place For Our Ayahuasca retreat! The MANU National Park and Maestro Alberto
Manú National Park is a national park and biosphere reserve located in the regions of Madre de Dios and Cusco in Peru. It protects diverse ecosystems such as lowland rainforests, cloud forests, and Andean grasslands.
In 1977, UNESCO recognized it as a Biosphere Reserve and in 1987, as a World Heritage Site.
This is a very unique part of the jungle, because of its unique ecosystem and for preservation reasons, it is one of the less-visited by westerners places and we are very pleased and "proud" to have for the first time the opportunity to try this experience and connect to the local communities and the tribes of people who live in the Many Area.

The ruins of Machu Picchu, rediscovered in 1911, by Yale archaeologist Hiram Bingham, are one of the most beautiful and enigmatic ancient sites in the world. While the Incan people certainly used the Andean mountain top erecting many hundreds of stone structures, from the early 1400s, legends and myths indicate that Machu Picchu (meaning ‘Old Peak’ in the Quechua language) was revered as a sacred place from a far earlier time.
Machu Picchu seems to have been utilized by the Incas as a secret ceremonial city.
For more info about Machu Picchu:
Some people say that the best way to rediscover your true self and freedom is to travel as much and as widely as you can. Why is this? What happens when we move that makes us feel freer and happier?
It has to do with the unknown! When we go, especially in countries with a culture very different from the culture we were brought up and see new places and faces, when everything is brand new, the mind stops. Nothing is the way we are used to be, so the mind can not follow its usual patterns and habitual behavior.
This adventure is a spiritual one as much as an external one! The essence of this trip is for you to overcome any fear that you might have at any level, spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, to gain back your power and finally set yourself free!
In the midst of coming back home to yourself, have fun, and meet new friends!
The Trip will be guided by Spiritual Teacher, Shaman & Healer Northern Deer Alexander, founder of the WORLD OF WISDOM & SPIRITUAL ADVENTURE community.
He will help each of you get the most out of the experience, and will guide you on a journey to awakening your true essence.
The trip includes daily practices to awaken the inherent part of our inner selves which is who we truly are!

Travel day: To high Jungle Eco-lodge and swim at natural hot springs
Today, we can relax a little (if people want to explore the ruins they can do so at an extra cost).
Around 10-30am, we head up a continuously snaking road up to the pass of Abra de Malaga at 4450m with some astounding views of the Veronica glacier if clear enough (can often be misty) and dramatic scenery behind us. We then glide down the other side into the denser vegetation which soon transforms into more tropical-like growth, banana plantations quickly appear everywhere and humidity becomes suddenly obvious.
We stop for a buffet lunch in some pretty surroundings with a chance to visit a small Inka site or rest place called Huamanmarca.
In the afternoon, we will get to the hot springs of Cocalmayo where we can relax until sunset.
After a short drive of 45 minutes, we will finish the day with a delicious dinner hosted by locals from the community after the day’s activities.

Llactapata trail
Organic coffee tour. Afternoon trek on Inka trail to Llactapata ruins.
After breakfast, we continue straight to the community of Lucmabamba where they run an organic coffee production cooperative. Here, you have the option to participate in a cultural experience with the native people of the area, including farmers who organically cultivate their coffee plantations and is considered one of the best organic coffees in the world. The organic coffee plantations still use traditional methods to toast and grind the coffee beans.
We will then continue through banana plantations where they also cultivate “granadilla” a member of the passion fruit family, yucca, and avocados.
After lunch, a walk uphill of around 700m and 3 hours takes you through beautiful garden-like scenery. Fruit trees, flowers, coffee, and banana plantations are in abundance and also an opportunity to buy local produce on the way. Some part of the path is the ancient Inka trail and just over 3 hours with stops you should arrive at the most wonderful view over to Machu Picchu. Here there are some Inka Tambos (Small resthouses) known by the name as Llactapata. We walk from here down another 30 minutes to our rustic mountain lodges.
Llactapata was supposedly an Inka site or religious temple with incredible energies. We try to appreciate this remarkable site and viewpoint to Machu Picchu by getting there when there are no groups and it will be peaceful. We then descend with another 30 minutes to our simple lodges but the incredible views that offer what is hopefully an amazing panoramic for both the sunset and sunrise.

LIFE IS A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
There is no way to separate a trip, a journey to a faraway country, without having a spiritual experience. For such a big trip, the spirit under which it operates and its intention is immense!
Our attention is to enjoy life, expand our awareness and self-knowledge, become empowered from our experiences which will lead us to be more alive and also learn something important and valuable in the way that we can carry with us, inside us, in our memories, in our actions, and in our hearts. Our purpose in this journey is to experience these transformative moments as consciously as we can so that this trip will be an excellent memory and a way to remember ourselves and return reborn!
The spirit under which we operate and the presence of a spiritual teacher together with us during all days ensure that the energy of our experience will be many times deeper than only what is the outward journey and activity!
