Booking & Cancellation Policy

We want the booking process for our Peru Spiritual Journey to be clear and transparent for everyone participating. Please read the following conditions before completing your enrollment.

1. Securing Your Place

Your place on the Peru Spiritual Journey is officially secured once we have received your required 30% deposit and confirmed your enrollment.

The 30% deposit is calculated on the regular participation price of the journey or journey section you have selected.

If you qualify for an Early Bird price or another agreed discount, the discount will be applied to your remaining balance.

2. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the beginning of the journey, unless another arrangement has been agreed with World of Wisdom in writing.

If payment is not received by the deadline, please contact us. If we are unable to reach an alternative agreement, we may release the reserved place.

3. Cancellation by the Participant

The 30% deposit is non-refundable. Once your enrollment is confirmed, we begin planning and making reservations and financial commitments based on your participation, including accommodation, domestic transportation, entrance tickets, local services, guides, and other arrangements.

A change of mind or a change in personal circumstances - including changes in work, relationships, finances, personal plans, or willingness to travel - does not normally constitute grounds for a refund of the deposit.

We do, however, recognize that genuinely exceptional circumstances beyond a participant's reasonable control can sometimes make participation impossible. These may include, for example, a serious accident or medical emergency that prevents travel, the death or critical illness of an immediate family member, an unavoidable legal obligation, or another event of comparable seriousness.

In such exceptional circumstances, World of Wisdom may, at its discretion, consider whether a refund, partial refund, credit, transfer, or another reasonable solution is possible. Any such consideration will depend on the individual circumstances, the timing of the cancellation, and any expenses or financial commitments already made.

The existence of an exceptional circumstance does not automatically guarantee a refund. Our commitment is to consider genuine exceptional situations fairly and, whenever reasonably possible, try to find an appropriate solution.

4. Cancellation by World of Wisdom & Spiritual Adventure (WOW)

In the unlikely event that World of Wisdom must cancel the journey for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of the payments you have made to WOW for the journey.

If the journey cannot take place because of extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control - such as natural disasters, serious public health emergencies, political instability, government restrictions, or other comparable events - we will make every reasonable effort to find the best possible solution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include rescheduling the journey, transferring your payment to a future journey, or providing a full or partial refund based on the funds that can reasonably be recovered from hotels, transportation providers, local partners, and other third parties.

We will always communicate openly with participants and make every reasonable effort to reach a fair solution under the circumstances.

5. International Flights

Please do not purchase your international flights until WOW confirms that you may proceed with booking them.

International flights are not included in the participation fee and are the responsibility of each participant.

6. Passport, Visas & Travel Documents

Each participant is responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport and any visas, entry permissions, vaccinations, certificates, insurance, or other documents required for their individual circumstances and nationality.

For this journey, participants should have a passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry into Peru.

Please provide us with a clear copy of your passport when requested, as passport information may be required for domestic flights, accommodation, entrance tickets, and other reservations.

7. Travel & Cancellation Insurance

Because payments made toward the journey may be non-refundable, we strongly recommend that every participant obtain appropriate travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage as soon as possible after confirming their participation.

Depending on the policy you choose, cancellation insurance may provide financial protection if an unexpected covered event - such as serious illness, accident, or another insured circumstance—prevents you from participating in the journey.

We also recommend appropriate coverage for medical treatment and emergencies abroad, lost or delayed luggage, travel disruption, and other risks relevant to international travel.

Please be aware that insurance policies differ considerably in what they cover. It is each participant's responsibility to choose an appropriate policy, understand its conditions and exclusions, and ensure that the level of coverage is suitable for their individual circumstances and the cost of the journey.

Travel or cancellation insurance is arranged independently by the participant and is not included in the participation fee.

8. Changes Requested by the Participant

Once travel arrangements have been organized, changes requested by an individual participant can sometimes require existing reservations to be modified or reorganized and may also affect arrangements made for other members of the group.

For this reason, any change to your original booking requested 45 days or less before the beginning of the journey will be subject to a €100 administration and reorganization fee per change.

This may include changes to accommodation or room arrangements, internal flights, transportation, or other previously confirmed program arrangements.

Any additional costs resulting from the requested change - such as hotel charges, supplier fees, fare differences, or other additional expenses - will also be the responsibility of the participant.

All requested changes remain subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

9. Late Reservations

For enrollments made less than 60 days before the beginning of the journey, additional costs may apply, particularly if the price of internal flights or other travel services has increased since the original group arrangements were made.

By enrolling during this period, you acknowledge that the final participation cost may therefore be adjusted to reflect these additional expenses. We will inform you of any additional amount that applies to your booking.

10. Accommodation & Itinerary

The hotels and accommodations listed for the journey are subject to availability. If a listed accommodation is unavailable at the time of booking, we may provide a suitable alternative of a similar standard.

The published itinerary represents our intended journey. Some details may change when necessary because of local conditions, transportation, weather, availability, safety, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our intention will always be to preserve the spirit and quality of the journey as much as reasonably possible.

11. Personal Responsibility

Participation in an international spiritual journey can involve hiking, altitude, unfamiliar environments, transportation, outdoor activities, and other experiences different from everyday life.

Participants are responsible for informing us in advance about any circumstances that may materially affect their ability to participate safely in planned activities.

If you are uncertain whether a particular activity is appropriate for you, please contact us before the journey.

12. Questions & Exceptional Circumstances

If something serious and genuinely exceptional happens that makes your participation impossible, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will consider such situations individually in accordance with the principles described above.
