A quick search on the popular video site YouTube

A quick search on the popular video site YouTube will produce just over 100,000 videos related to the hugely popular online computer game World of Warcraft. This gave Wendy James from the web site WoW-Gold-Price-List.com a great idea. To create a contest just for WoW players.

Looking through some of the current WoW videos on YouTube, Wendy laughs. Some of the videos she came across are just so humorous. One popular theme seems to be having ingame WoW characters dance to classic songs. The video using the Baywatch Theme Song really stands out in her mind.

Wanting to see what users could come up with about her own site, Wendy decided to create a WoW Video Contest offering a $500 prize to the winner. Wendy's contest is to have WoW players create a humorous video about her site WoW-Gold-Price-List.com.

This contest is open to anybody and requires you to create a video and upload it to YouTube and then add it to the contest group youtube.com/group/wowgoldpricelist. The contest is running from now until March 31, 2008. The winning entry will be judged by Wendy herself and the prize will be paid via PayPal.

Wendy admits that she is very excited to see what type of videos get submitted. "Their are just so many creative people out their" says Wendy.

season 3 is coming out for arena gear

I read that season 3 is coming out for arena gear. I also read that season 3 arena gear will be using the tier 6 armor models, and I am not happy about this. I was a bit put off when season 1 and 2 used tier 4-5. I had to inspect others to see if they had actually earned their tier 4-5 or if they were just a pvper that bought it with honor/points. I feel that PvE accomplishments are a lot bigger than just grinding PvP honor or arena team points (something you can do solo, regarding honor, or in groups of 2/3/5 compared to what you have to do in 25 mans, etc.). Call me old school or a simple whiner, but I feel that even back in the days of tier 1 and 2, part of getting PvE gear also entailed bragging rights. You'd see someone in a full set of it and say "Wow, this person has been through MC (or BWL)". Now, sadly, the only difference between a PvPer who decided to grind some honor points up and a raider who spends endless hours progressing with his entire guild, are the stats. I feel Blizzard could have at least designed a separate set for PvPers and PvErs. I don't think it would be that hard. So do they genuinely justify using the same models for both PvE and PvP sets, or are they just that lazy and decided to recycle the models the same way they recycled Warcraft 3 icons into WoW cast icons and are still recycling the same old gear icons from beta?

I jumped down

Basically, you need to get to IF airport, cross it to the Flightmaster (who isn’t there) and go down to the Wetlands farms (you see them when you fly down that mountain going from IF to Menethil) and continue west. Eventually you’ll hit some VERY open spaces, kinda boring if you ask me, unless it’s your first time, or you’re high on weed and you’re showing your buddy, or something like that, it’s very empty. Don’t worry about getting banned, you won’t. Once I had petitioned a GameMaster and forgot, I ended up at the Menethil Farm (can’t access unless you go through the airport) and the GM basically laughed and said, Nice spot for a meeting place. If you can get to it without hacking or teleporting, it’s fair-game… and I’m sure Blizz has spots like this all over the place just to add “depth” to the game for those whom think it’s a top secret hiding place. Additionally, if you are at Menethil farm, there’s a tunnel (like the one you go through from Loch Modan to Wetlands) that leads to a whole wack load of NOTHING!! I was alone when I went, and I’m a hunter, so I don’t have any feather fall or pally bubbles to keep the fall damage from killing me. I jumped down, fell for about a good 20 seconds, then ended up dead right in front of the IF front gate, where everyone duels.

its soulbound after

I suppose you mean the fact that he is lv 39. Well..people have been know to leech reputation from friends. Some lv 19 rogue got exhalted with Skyguard that way (BLizzard took his rewards away in the end). He might have been enchanter and did his rings, then dropped the profession. His head and shoulders are BoE, so somebody else (a lv 70 with the proper rep) could have put the enchants on the items and given them to him afterwards. Hmmm...interesting how people keep finding ways.... No, the ring enchants require a skill of 360, you can't have that on 39, cause you need lvl 50 or 55 to learn 300+. shoulder/head are bop enchants and if you enchant en item(it must be in your inventory btw) its soulbound after. (Not like the enchants for the pants)
