What is the goofiest thing you have done with your game time just for the fun of it? And how did it turn out?
I have done plenty of impetuous things that got me killed and made me feel dumb. But recently I did something that seemed way sillier and worked out way better.
While joking around with the family about funny guild names, my 10 year old daughter came up with the name Gnomes of Wrath. Ever since we have all brought it up once in a while as something we should really do. So recently I got on my bank alt and paid people for signatures to make a guild with that name for her and for my husbands bank alt. My daughters and I had a blast designing a tabard that went perfectly with my banker's look. And then I realized that I could buy her a bank tab and really make use of it. We now have two bank tabs and have unloaded all of my husbands mail boxes and sorted out most of his tunes bank space issues. That was waaayyyyyy more cost effective than upgrading bags for and additional 2 or 4 slots each.
We enjoyed it so much that we did it again with my unguilded priest the other day. I don't need bank space on her, but I bought one tab anyway since I ended up taking so much of what I got in the gnomes of wrath bank for my husband. And I just have to say that Moirya's guild name "Pandora's Box" really gives me smile but not half so much as her beautiful tabard.
I really get my 15$ a month worth of fun out of WOW and then some.
