Some twink was trying to justify himself on another thread and I gave this advice. Since the thread had already hit two pages, thought I'd give the advice its own thread and see how our twinks feel about it.
One of the common justifications I see from twinks is that they only twink because they're looking for a challenge. Unfortunately, the twinks seem to have gotten confused as after all, leveling your toon to X9 and then decking him out in blues, purples and uber enchants doesn't create a challenge at all - it actually does the opposite, removing all challenge from combat.
So if you twinks are telling the truth and you honestly desire a real challenge, here's what you do -
1) Ding your twinks to level X0 so you'll be the lowest level member of the next catagory of BG.
2) Mail all of those pots, scrolls, rums and other stuff back to your main along with all of your cash - from now on, you can only buy pots and bandages from the faction vendor and you can only buy them with money you get in the BGs from looting the enemy and winning the daily.
3) Vendor/DE all of your uber gear - its making things too easy for you - instead, replace all of it with the crappiest green items you can find for your level.
At this point, you've now created a toon that will only win a fight due to your personal knowledge, skill and expertise with said toon. Every fight will be a challenge as you'll not only lack the extreme edge you used to have, but you'll actually be at a disadvantage to everyone else.
This will give you the challenge you claim to crave - if you thought it was thrilling to gank a level X1 with your level X9 while decked out in blues and purples, just wait till you defeat a level X9 with your level X0 in personal combat - then you'll have some real bragging rights.
I'd also encourage all of you to spread this suggestion about to your fellow twinks - let them know they've been going about things all wrong and that they're just making themselves look like a bunch of idiots who can't hack it in a fair fight and thus have to twink.
If all the twinks see this, then we'll then have two groups - the twinks and the anti-twinks.
The twinks will be those players who can't hack it in a fair fight and are simply losers who enjoy gacking lower level/geared players - they will then be given the derision they deserve.
The anti-twinks will be recognized as those players that truely want to test thier skills to the extreme, the most knowledgable and honorable of PvPers - the kind of player that you'd actually honor and respect on the BGs.
Since the first type is supposedly the minority, I assume that we can all look forward to seeing twinks virtually disappear from the BGs to be replaced by hordes of anti-twinks.
